Will you introduce me to limited partners?

No. I am not a placement agent and do not act in that regard on behalf of my clients, as I am not a licensed broker-dealer and legally cannot broker a transaction. Reiterating: I am not a fundraiser and do not make introductions in that capacity. My value is offering you the focus to prepare for LP meetings so that those meetings will be successful. However, if I believe a personal or professional relationship would be mutually beneficial, I am happy to make an introduction as a friend or colleague, but only in that capacity.

How do you work with managers after they’ve raised their first fund?

First, congratulations on raising Fund I! That's huge! Second, I support emerging managers throughout the life of their firm, not just their first fund. I can be helpful with developing a strategy for building out your team to increase your capacity for Fund II and beyond, as well as addressing how your processes should evolve as you grow. Your story will evolve with you, so we can work together to clarify who you have become and what you want to be. Ultimately, I can give you insight into what LPs are looking for when they diligence Fund II versus Fund I, so you'll be prepared for anything. When is the best time to start working with you?

You’re probably ready to engage with me if you have done at least two buyout deals and have exited at least one of them (or will very soon), and are now thinking about building something bigger, and want to prepare to raise a committed pool of capital in the next two years or so.
